Education: Today and Tommorrow Video

It was an interesting video. Video shows that education back then prepares people to work in a factory. Today there is so much more technology out there to be used in our classrooms. Years ago they had to make do with tools such as books, flashcards, tape recorders, projectors and record players. I think classrooms need to be updated to have computers with internet access and educational software. Technology in our schools is a fundamental part of our growing educational needs that our students must have to achieve success in our society today.

I agree that the video is interesting. You have mentioned books as one of the tools used yesterday and today in education and I still look forward that it will be around in the future. The digital books are getting popular nowadays and are now being considered to be used in school even for younger students. I don't know if that is really good or not but as far as I am concerned, I don't think we could ever replace the kind of experience we get from holding and reading a real book.

I agree nothing would replace a book. But there are options such as "tablet computers" that are similar to using a book, it is not the same. This is good for businesses because they like to get rid of paper. For personal use and in a classroom it is good to have both.
